Hunter and his friend Dylan went out to sled in our back yard. There is very little snow, and not much of a hill to sled down. Instead of using a sled they decided that a garbage sack was better. Half the fun for them was trying to get back up the little hill in the garbage bag. Ha! They slipped and fell down a lot. It provided them over an hour of fun.

Ashley is so excited to get Baptised!

Ashley will be getting baptised on Sunday, February 19th at 5 pm. She has been telling all her friends at school about it. She is the only member in her school so they have no idea what she is talking about. Ha! She has invited some of her friends and they are planning on coming.

I am so thankful for the Gospel. We have a lot of friends at church. It's so nice to have an instant family no matter where you live. I love being a Mormon. Ha! I also have a lot of friends here that don't belong to the church and they are great people too. A lot of them know we are Mormon's hopefully we are being good examples and one day they will want to know more about our beliefs!

Ashley's Birthday!

Happy 8th Birthday Ashley! We had had lots of fun! I bought Build a Bear kits at Kmart. The girls played games to earn "Birthday Tokens". The games; Birthday bingo, freeze dance, musical chairs, pin the tail on the donkey, they had to color a cute wood magnet from Joanns, draw the friend sitting next to them on a balloon, and play the game where you try to roll doubles with dice and then suck M&M's with a straw from a bowl and put them in their own cup. After they collected all the "Birthday Tokens" they could shop at the Birthday Store. That's where they bought all the stuff to make their bears. (Unstuffed bear, stuffing, dress, birth certificate, needle, thread, and bag for their bear.) It was hilarious they way they wanted their bears stuffed. Some girls worried about their bears being too fat. Some wanted them to be fat. Sarah (the friend in blue next to Ashely) didn't want her bear to have stuffing in it's head. Haha! Ashley opened her presents. She opened them in the order of who won the games because there wasn't a prize for game winners, everyone got a birthday token regardless. They ate rainbow cupcakes, they were so good that everyone ate 2! We had 2 hours of fun (and a lot of caos)! I love you Ashley!

I told her she could have any cake she wanted. I would buy her a cake, bake her a cake, whatever. She chose a simple Jello cake. This is her dads favorite cake too.

She got lots of Birthday gift. Money from cousin, aunts, uncles, and grandma and grandpa Cox. Grandma and Grandpa Behling gave her a cute shirt and an American Girl craft kit. Josh and I gave her clothes, Mario Cart for the Wii,steerling wheels for the game, and other little things. SOOO spoiled!

Thanks to Pintrest we found a recipe for these rainbow cupcakes. Ashley helped me mix them.

I had been dying to meet Joslyn. She was almost 4 weeks old when I got to see her. She is ADORABLE! I tried hard to figure out how I could sneek her back with me to Pennsylvania without anyone noticing! hmmm. She is such a good baby. I was honored to get the first smile out of her. It was so fun to see Kenny's family. They are all growing up so fast!

Audra and Tasha..... This post is for you! Ha! They have asked me several times throughout the year to blog.... OK! I know it has been almost a year since I blogged. A lot has happened. WOW! We moved to PA the end of March. We have already been to some really cool places . Maybe when I feel like I am caught up I will post some of the cool historic places we have been. Or, if you are my friend on Facebook you can check the pictures out there. It has been so long since I posted I had to call my sister to figure out how to change the settings. Thanks Christine!
So this post we have already been back to Utah for a visit. (July) I know, we hadn't really been gone long enough for anyone to miss us! Ha

Grandma and Grandpa Behling put in a horse walker to the side of there house for Grankids to swing on. It was pretty fun, I even had a turn.

The Prince Escort for evening gown! She wore her green dance costume for her talent. She made up a dance to "Shake Your Groove Thing" by the Chipmunks. I didn't post a picture because there are already so many of her in it!

Ashley did a great job! She didn't win but everyone got a gift bag, a crown, and a flower.

The kids were able to train with MLB alumni and some local baseball teams, and a few Bee's players! They were fed pizza for lunch and given tickets for the Bee's game that night! They had a good time!

With some of our friends from Ferron, we went to Sandy to the Aquarium. We thought the penguins were really cute! And then met at the Myan to eat dinner!

ummm.... I am not sure what Stephen is doing! Hahaha!

We had so much fun! We stayed at Todd's parents house in St. George. (Christine's husband) It has the coolest pool and sports court. We were super close to the mall and lots of great places to eat. We went to Fiesta Fun and played golf, rode the Go Carts, and let the boys hit baseballs in the batting cages. We roasted marshmallows,and ate smores'. This was our last trip before Kenny, Kevin and their families left for the summer to sell security systems.

This year Kevin and Sandra's family was in charge. It was Survivor themed. We had so much fun doing a relay race, making paper airplanes, and throwing them at a cup. We had to shoot bow and arrows at cups, and as couples balance on a log. Me and Josh were winners so we were able to pick from all the gifts after they were open and take what we wanted. I ended up with and Itunes card, and Josh picked a Nerf game thing. Sweet!

We went to Manti for Halloween. It was so much fun to dress up with my family and go trick or treating. We had a party! We had all kinds of Halloween themed foods. The kids decorated a haunted house, and ate lots of candy.

Stephen and Hunter informed me that they helped their dad find this big deer! They are all so excited! Josh shot this buck up Ferron Mountain this morning. He was glad the boys could be with him. He said he made a lucky shot at 175 yards. The buck is a 4x4 with eye guards. His buck might have more mass.... BUT MINE IS STILL WIDER!!!! HAHAHA

After 4 days of fun at Lake Powell, we headed to Snowbird to stay at the Iron Blosam for more fun! Emalee wrestling Hunter!
We were watching the Steeler game and all the little kids run around the room!

We were not there for the Oktober fest this year. But, I always seem to get a picture of my kids in this. It was out where we were getting on the tram.

At the top, before we walked down the trail. It took us 2 hours and 20 min. My butt and legs hurt for 3 days!

We stopped to take a break and have a snack. Hunter and Ashley were showing us how you can play with your fruit snack. They had seen it on a commercial. Very funny!

After the walk down the mountain, we went to Mulligan's. We played miniture golf and hit in the batting cages. It was lots of fun!

Then it was off to Gardner's Village to buy hats! Grandma Behling, me and Ashley are going to eat breakfast with the witches on October 3 so we had to stop to get our own witches hats! Grandpa and the boys found treasures there too. Hahaha!

Apparently the kids didn't get enough swimming and water at Lake Powell! They went swimming with their cousins!

This tube is their 2 year old cousin Brookelle's but they seemed to have more fun with it than she did!

We went to Lake Powell For Labor Day with Josh's family! We had fun! My kids were able to play with all of their cousins for the week. Hunter Striking a pose as he is going down the slide.

Shelby loved eating the sand and drinking the lake water. She was so funny! We took her out in the water and she would stick her face in it and try to lap it up like a dog.

This time the house boat had a nifty water sprayer to spray the sand off of our feet. We had to get after the kids because they used it like a toy. So I figured that I should get a picture of what Ashley spent a lot of time doing. Ashley would spray her feet off even if she didn't have sand of them just so she could use it.

Stephen gave himself a new name. Stever! That is is when he is being like a nerd. It was pretty funny. He wanted me to take his picture being Stever by the water. Grandpa had being being silly earlier in the day doing this, and Stephen wanted to give it a try.

Peach Blossom Pageant!

Peach Day's is a celebration in Ferron! And there is a Peach Blossom Pageant for girls ages 3 to 11. They do a talent and model a dress. There were 30 girls competing this year. Each age group has a queen. Ashley did such a good job! She did a dance for her talent! Ashely was the Queen of the 5 year old group. There were 7 girls her age.

Brookelle sang for her talent and was named the Queen of the 1o and 11 year old group. Bailey sang and danced. The girls were all great!

All of the girls get a crown, they all think it is so fun! They also all get to ride in a float in the Peach Day's parade.

The Queens from this year can't compete next year. They perform at next years pageant and pass on the crowns.

I asked Connor who was going to be having a birthday soon and he raised his hand. He turned 4 on July 20th. He is so cute! He loves his uncle Josh. He told his mom that he couldn't wait to see Josh so he could punch him in the throat, and kick him in the back. Haha. He would walk up to Josh and hit him and then run off with his chest puffed out like he is a macho man. So cute!

We had a really fun day planned for Seven Peaks, but, the weather did not coperate. It started to rain so we had a change of plan. We met in a parking lot by the water park to try to decide what to do. You can tell that some of them were not happy that we couldn't go. (Like Hunter and Stephen.)

We ate lunch at Brick Oven. It was Josh's birthday too.

We had a room all to ourselves so when the little kids were acting like kitty's we could just laugh at them.

On the front porch watching the fireworks that were at the highschool. It was cool to have the temple as a backdrop for them. I am so thankful to live in America, and to be a memeber of the only true church.

My mom found a basket of fireworks stored in her house. I was surprised that some of them even worked. They had to be from when all of us kid were at home. haha The kids had so much fun lighting them off.

We had a barbeque at my parents house. We were lucky.... it didn't rain. But we set up the tables in the garage just in case. Lots of my extended family was there. I always love my visits with family.

Tradition growing up for me on the 4th of July was going to the Manti park! So it was fun to take my kids there so they could do what I used to love. (Josh usually takes us camping or to Lake Powell.) It was fun to see family and friends there !

We decided to go camping in Heber last weekend!

Ashley took this picture for me. Josh had just leveled the trailor .It was really cold when we got there. I was glad I brought a winter coat.

After Josh cooked us dinner we went to see Connor and Dylan. They were home from Kansas. Kenny is their selling security systems for the summer. Their birthdays are next month so we let them open the presents early. Connor got that cool shark floaty from us for part of his gift. He is going to be 4, and Dylan is going to be 6.We went to Smiths to get drinks. I told Hunter to go get a cart.... this is what he came back with. Haha! We have short buses in Emery County but not carts. Ha Ha!

On Friday the weather was finally nice, so we met Janae, Kolbie, my dad, Rach, and her boys. And a bunch of Janae's family and friends at the Serca pool in Orem. It was way fun!

I am so glad that Janae was home for the week from Chicago. Kevin is selling security systems there.

Grandma and Grandpa Behling came up to camp with us Friday night. After we ate dinner we went to play golf at the Wasatch Golf course. When we got back the kids played with Grandpas horseshoes. Stephen got sun burned on his face. Can anyone tell?

On Saturday it was not very nice weather so we drove to Park City to shop at the outlets. We had way too much fun. The awesome thing is that I am almost done school shopping! Yay!!! Later that night we took the kids bowling. Ashley got a strike! Josh was able to get a picture of it.

We had the best fire ever. It's a fire that is ran off of propane. It has real looking flames and everything. The best part is that when you head to bed for the night we just shut it off and no one smelled like camp fire. We roasted Marshmallows both Friday and Saturday night while we waited for Josh to make dutch oven desserts. YUM!

We had so much fun.... can't wait to do it again!!

Weekend in Manti!

The kids had so much fun even though the weather was not very nice. They helped grandpa mow the lawn played with Christine's friend Todd, and of course.... sat in the hot tub.

There they go! It lasted about 10 min and then grandpa had had enough.. ha ha. He did let Hunter edge his lawn with the weedeater.

Todd played the Playstation with Max and Stephen. Bailey and Ashley just wouldn't leave the poor kid alone. They wanted him to play hide and seek with them, or thow them up high in the air. They would follow him around and sit next to him or on him. I finally had to tell Ashley she could look at Todd but not touch him. Ha ha. I wonder if he will come around again?!!

On friday the 12th of June we went to watch my sister run thru all the things she would be doing at Miss Utah. The kids came to watch- run though the MHS auditorium.. They were REALLY excited about the treats and lemon water grandma had brought for refreshments. She did a great job for us that night. She does an amazing dance for her talent. At Miss Utah she won the swimsuit preliminary on thursday night. She didn't make top 10 but we are all so proud of her.

Hunter has been loving that his grandpa bought a tractor. Every day at about 4:30 he starts to ask what time it is, and If he can ride his bike around the block? I finally figured out it is to see if his grandpa is home from work. He can't wait to run over there to see if he needs Hunter's help. He has been helping his uncle Peter rip out some trees in his yard. I walked over to his house the other night and there was Hunter running the tractor and Peter and grandpa were by the tree telling him what to do to dig up the roots of the tree so they could pull it out!

Here Hunter is unloading the tiller attachment by the fence in our backyard. There is land on both sides of our house that the tractor will be used to level and till up the dirt. Hunter has told me that when they don't have things to do with the tractor grandpa said he can maybe just dig holes and fill them back in on the lot to the west of out house. Maybe we could have a hole digging contest..... anyone interested? haha

Hunter is so excited that he can drive the tractor and can run the backhoe!

Hunter says he is saving his money for a tractor of his own. Since it will take him too long to save for the same one grandpa has... he said he will buy a smaller one. He wants to have his own little business and do jobs for people so he can make money.. haha. He will probably do it. He is so ambitious, and such a hard worker.

I asked Ashley to strike a pose so she took off her mitt! Whatever right!!! My dad always told me. "It doesn't matter how well you play the sport as long as you look good doing it." Thanks dad your the best! hahaha I think Ashley looks pretty good. Mission accomplished!

Best cousins! They are loving t-ball! Bailey is so awesome at running to get the ball every time it is hit. The coach has them all stand on rubber squares so they kind of know their positions. Ashley doesn't think that she can leave hers. So she never tries to get the ball. It's always funny when they hit the ball and then they are not quite sure what to do. I think that some of them are more excited about the treat they get after the game. I guess it's a good thing they only play 2 innings!!! I love t-ball because the score is not kept and our team always wins. Yay!!!

All of the girls did a great job with their dances! Ashley's group did 3! She did a super job. She knew all of her dance steps. After they were all given a gift. Her group got a stuffed animal and a balloon.

The boy's started baseball the first of April! We have had a ball game or a practice every night. Luckily they are on the same team. Stephen plays short stop, and Hunter plays first base when he is not pitching. He is a pretty good little pitcher. Stephen got a double play at his Wednesday night game. Good Job Boy's!!

Stay tuned.. Ashley started t-ball tonight. It should be good entertainment. She is on a team with her cousin Bailey!!

Here is a picture of Stephen with his 2nd place ribbon, and Hunter with his 3rd place ribbon. Their friend Gavin took 1st. They had really fast cars! They were within 400ths of a second of each other. They did awesome considering there were 36 boys they raced against.
They raced the cars alphabetically, the other 2 boys in their group were not there so it was brother against brother. The boys cars were close to the same so it's a good thing they almost tied each round. (Way to go Josh! Thanks for making..... I mean help make the boys cars.) Hunter and Stephen were waiting at the end to see who would win.

Friday Night Swimming With Cousins!

Jenny and I took the kids swimming at our new Emery County Aquatic Center. It opened in December. We have been without a pool for like 2 years waiting for this one to be built. I am so excited! I wont have to drive the kids to Price for Swimming lessons this summer.

The kids are all ready to launch their planes. I'm so glad grandma's house has a cat walk that works so perfect for this.

The funniest things was wathching the adults try to throw the airplanes back to the them.

As a safety precaution we had to cover our faces at times! ha ha.

After they got out and had their baths we all had rootbeer floats. The kids made their paper airplanes and then the contest began.

Josh went to the Henry Mountains for the weekend so I decided to go see my family. Christine came home from school. Later Kenny, Brett and their families came! We mostly spent time visiting and hanging out and chasing around 9 cute kids! Thank goodness grandma's house is well equiped to handle that many munchkins. There is never a dull moment!

The boys went trap shooting that morning and then after lunch went to play paint ball. Kevin had a bunch of friends over. It was so fun to visit his friend Scott Barclay and his family. His baby is so cute! Later my cousin Karl came over with his family.

Josh wanted to make sure he had everything he needed to set up his tent. He took it to the Henry Mountains to look for shed horns over the weekend. He went with a few of his friends, they found 20 some horns. He said there were so many people, it was like opening morning of the deer hunt. I guess the trip was a success, they can't wait to go again.

The kids really want him to set it back up so they can camp out in it.

Tuesday Ashley went to the Elementary school to register. She thought she was going to start that day. So you can imagine how disappointing it was for her when she found out she wasn't. They checked her ears and eyes and she was given stickers that said she passed the tests.
Later that night she was showing Josh her stickers and telling him all about it. He said "Good Job Ash, looks like you don't have a lazy eye!" I said "Nope no lazy eyes, just arms and legs." (Because she doesn't like to pick up any mess she makes.) She said "Nuh uh mom, they tested those too!"

Because Valentine's Day happened to fall on a weekend, we decided to take the kids to do something fun! My birthday is also on Valentine's Day so Josh took me shopping. He bought me lots of clothes, a pair of shoes, and new pajamas. We went to lunch, took the kids to play golf at Trafalga, and watched the movie Mall Cop. I love Ashley's facial expressions for the camera. She had a lot of fun golfing even though this picture made it look like it was painful!! Ha Ha

We are so EXCITED that the Steelers are playing for the SUPERBOWL on February 1st. I thought I would post a collage of pictures that Tuesdee took of our AWESOME family trip to see them play in 2007. We watched the Steelers blow the Ravens away that Novemeber. The score was 38-7. We had amazing seats only 9 rows up behind the team. The Steelers beat the Ravens again Sunday to lock their spot. Sweet!

I remembered something funny that Hunter Said on our way to spend the weekend in Heber. We were headed up the canyon and we passed Squa Peak. Josh asked if I remembered when we were dating and we drove up there. I didn't but he remembered letting me drive his Jeep home. (His jeep was a standard.) He told me he remembered that I was a horrible driver. Of course I was, I always had automatic vehicles. Anyways, Hunter said "Cool dad, you had a jeep? What happened to it." Josh said, " I sold it before you GOT BORNED." (I started laughing because he should have said before you were born.) Josh then said, "Yeah, my jeep was so cool, and your mom had a cool mustang. I wish I still had my jeep. We should have kept it." Hunter then said, "Wow mom you drove a horse? No Fair!" Ha ha! I thought it was way funny.

We took the family up to Soldier Hollow to tube. It was a perfect day, the Sun was out and there was no wind. My parents, Christine, Kenny, Rachel, and their cute boys went with us. I think we should make this a tradition during Christmas break.

The kids got snokel gear to use at Lake Powell or whenever they go swimming. Stephen came out to show us. He had his goggles upside down. He changed them before I could get a picture but it was way funny.

Ashely got gymnastic mats, clothes, Bratz, make-up, boots, a Hello Kitty CD player, cd's and lots of other little things.

Stephen and Hunter got 22 guns, bullets, hunting clothes, Xbox and Wii games. They got shoes, and marshmello guns. Stephen got a new Steeler Jersey and helmet, some Playmobil toys and lots of other boy stuff.

Grandma and Grandpa Cox gave them scopes for their new guns, bullets and targets for shooting, their Christmas Eve pajamas and a book. Ashley got clothes, and a couple of different sets of plastic fuse beads. She is really into them! She makes all kinds of different things.

Stephen and Hunter got lots of cool things too. I got a steamer, (to clean my house. I have been wanting one.) Josh got a heater to use in his shed or wherever. Its cool because we can also hook it up to propane to work. We also got clothes and books, and a gift certificate to Red Lobster. Yum!

After a yummy turkey dinner at Grandma and Grandpa Behling's we played a fun game. Each gift that was there was wrapped several times. Everyone takes turnes rolling two dice. When you roll a doube on your turn you get to open a gift of your choice. When you unwrap the gift on its last paper wrap it's yours. I won two of the four gifts. I got a really cute Polly Pocket doll with a car, and a water shooter for Lake powell. I have to give credit to my Bunko dice rolling skills. It really paid off for this game. Ha Ha! Audra ended up with a Chipmunk Christmas CD and Peter got a game.

Ashley's Pre-school Christmas Program

Ashley and Bailey did a great job in their program. They sang a lot of songs, they even used sign language for one of the songs. They used a big parachute for a part in the program. They were awesome! Grandma Cox, and Grandma and Grandpa Behling were able to come watch. Santa was a special visitor. Ashley asked for new clothes, make-up, (how old is she) boots, and a bubblegum machine. I know that Bailey wants Sleepin' BOOTY, (not Beauty) a prince, and a COOL car for them so they can go on a date. Bailey had to have mascara put on that morning so we could see her eyelashes from the stands. Thanks Bailey, It really did make a difference. Ha Ha! Can you imagine these two when they are teenagers?

Gingerbread House

Every year we make a gingerbread house. The kids think that its great! I like the little ones so that they don't take up as much space, and they are quicker to decorate. When it's done they always want to know when they can eat it. They ask this every year. After Christmas they try it, they think it's gross and we throw it away!

Josh is doing an amazing job with frosting. The kids are good decorators.

The kids are so excited for dad to get the frosting on so that they can decorate. They always fight over spots to stand closest.

Thanksgiving 2008!

It has been a while since I posted last. Sorry! The boy's have been hunting and trapping. I could post more pictures, but, I think we have enough of those. For Thanksgiving this year me, Josh, and his parents went to Oahu, Hawaii. We flew out November 25th to San Fransico, then on to Hawaii. We Stayed up on the North Shore at the Turtle Bay Resort. It was very nice and right next to the ocean. Wednesday we headed to see the Pearl Harbor Monument. That was very sad! Then we went over to swap meet at the Hawaii Stadium. There were all kinds of different things for sale. After we spent a good chunk of money we headed to the Dole Plantation to see how they are grown. We had yummy pineapple icecream for a treat. They had a jewlery counter there where you could open clams for pearls. Diane and I ended up with a neclace and 2 pairs of earrings each. They definalely know how to get your money. We got black, yellow, pink, and white pearls between the 2 of us. It was pretty cool to see what color we would get, and if there were 1 or 2 pearls in each. We both got 2 sets of TWINS... that's how we ended up with 2 pair of earrings. The next day was Thanksgiving we went snorkeling with the pretty fish and even a sea turtle. It was way fun. We at a Thanksgiving buffet at the resort. (At $44 a person it might have been the most expensive dinner I have ever had on Thanksgiving. ) After dinner it was off or a game of golf at the George Fazio Course. (I guess a lot of Pro tounaments are held there.) Friday we went to the Hawaii Temple and went thrugh a session in the morning, and then spent the rest of the day at the Polynesion Center. That was very cool. We went to te luau there for dinner. Saturday we went down to Honolulu and went to the mall. It is huge! 4 levels and a lot of very expensive stores. Later that day we went on the submarine Atlantis and saw lots of pretty fish and even 2 small white sharks. We ate dinner at a buffet that had a huge aquarium with sting rays, eels,and all kinds of fish. It was very cool! We headed home Sunday. We only missed exits a couple of times and that is when we saw the really steep mtn. they looked like they were growing moss because they are so green. The spped limit is like 40 there. It would take us an hour to go 30 miles. They are very laid back there. The pro surfing contest for the pipeline was being filmed while we were there so it was fun to see the huge waves and all the people gathered to watch. Hawaii is a very beautiful place and we saw lots of cool things but I was ready to get back home. The kids stayed with my parents. They had so much fun they didn't even miss us.
